Dear Sangha,
As the world knows, we are in a time of severe caution and safety because of the mass spread of the COVID-19 virus. Because the temple’s services and classes tend to bring in many visitors and large groups, effective immediately the temple will suspend all classes and gatherings, except for the regular Sunday service. So as of now:
- Sunday Services are canceled until further notice. Please continue to check our Facebook page for any upcoming Livestreams of dharma talks and chanting.
- Tuesday’s Buddhism 101 physical class at the temple is canceled. However, we will continue to have the class virtually via Facebook Live. You will need to join the class’s FB group.
- Since Master Thích Quang Trí has completed all lessons for the first series of the Saturday Meditation class, all remaining classes are canceled.
- The half-day meditation retreat that was to be scheduled in April is canceled.
- Temple grounds will only be open for part of the day. The shrine will remain closed.
