Everyone is familiar with prayer and it’s part of every major world religion. Prayer in Buddhism is an essential piece of daily chanting and meditation. In Buddhism, prayer isn’t necessarily a request or demand for something, instead, it uses the spiritual energy of our prayer to manifest in the universe. It also provides us a reminder of what we’re praying for, to be compassionate, generous, loving, tolerant, and fair.
At Phuoc Hue Buddhist Temple, we pray for the living and deceased during morning and evening chanting. Requests for prayers are usually offered during major holidays or when a person has passed away. We now offer this service to the public and our monastics will gladly pray for yourself or your loved ones. Whether someone is ill or deceased, we will offer our prayers in gratitude.
Please use the form below to submit your Prayer Request. A donation is appreciated as it helps us be able to provide this opportunity to the community and allows us to purchase incense, flowers, fruits, and other offerings for the prayers.
All prayer requests will be prayed for the day after we receive your request.
