Our latest version of the Temple Chant Book is complete! After over a year of reviews and edits, our Second Edition Temple Chant Book is complete and ready to print! Now we need your help to get them printed. Because we are printing these in the U.S., each book costs about $20 to print and ship. These beautiful books are 6×9 inches with a colored matte cover displaying a gorgeous Dharma Wheel (check out the photo below!). This Second Edition has a few changes, including:
- Spelling and formatting corrections
- A major change is the “Great Compassion Mantra,” which is now in the correct Sanskrit spelling (previously, some words were spelled incorrectly or had entirely incorrect words)
- A few word changes in some of the main chanting pieces
- Font size is larger
- New services and ceremonies have been added, including:
- Meal Offering Ceremony
- Hungry Ghost Meal Offering Ceremony
- Blessing Ceremony
- New Year, Vesak, Ullambana, and Amitabha/Funeral Ceremonies have been updated
- Almost all services and ceremonies have some additional chanting, prayers, and/or mantras
