Please join us in celebrating this special and auspicious double occasion of our Venerable Abbot’s 85th birthday (Continuation Day) and celebrating the Temple’s 15th year Anniversary! As a special celebration this year, we invite you to join us as we offer a prayer of blessings and longevity, and gift offerings as a token of the Sangha’s gratitude and appreciation toward Teacher’s guidance and teachings.
Venerable teacher has also requested that if you would like to make any offerings to him, to please make a monetary donation to the temple. All donations go toward helping maintain the temple and allowing us to continue to provide services and classes to the community.
The prayer and offerings will begin at 12:30pm before we begin our normal service. Following the prayer, we will request a Dharma teaching from the Venerable Teacher, and then chant the Aspirations of Samantabhadra Sutra.
After the service, you are welcome to join us for cake and conversation!
