Buddhism 101 Class

It’s time to start up the Buddhism 101 classes again! For 2021, we are going to try a few new things.  Because of continued concerns over the Covid outbreak, we will be continuing our Zoom meetings into Spring. Once we’re back at the temple, we will probably continue the Zoom meetings for those who are unable to attend in person. 

We will meet the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd Tuesdays of every month at 6:30pm.  I will open up the Zoom room by 6:15p for anyone who wants to just chat or need to ask questions, link will be posted on the FB Group.  The first two Tuesdays will be our usual service: instructions, 10min meditation, Dharma talk, and discussion.  The meeting on the Third Tuesday will replace the Dharma talk with a Buddhist parable that we will then discuss as a group.  Many of the parables I will use will come from the Jataka Tales used to teach adults and children, so feel free to bring your kids to the meetings.
